Job Location: Ambattur, Chennai

Experience: 1–5 Years

Qualification: 12th / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical (DME) preferred

Shift timings : A : 1st Shift - 6am to 2pm

2nd Shift - 2pm to 10pm

3rd Shift - 10pm to 6am

Salary details :

ITI: Starting from ₹12,000 to 15,000 per month

Diploma: Starting from ₹15,000 to 17,000per month

B.E.: Starting from ₹18,000 to 20,000 per month

Salary will be increased based on relevant experience and skill level.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator with hands-on experience in CNC machine

operation and production activities. Candidates with experience in CNC Sliding Head

Machines will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

 Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.

 Perform machine cleaning and maintain 5S in the work area.

 Load and unload materials/components into the machine.

 Monitor hourly production and update production charts.

 Operate and maintain assigned CNC machines.

 Perform part inspection as per quality standards.

 Carry out tool changing and basic tool offset correction.

 Complete the daily machine maintenance checklist.

 Identify and handle basic 5M / abnormality issues and report them to the supervisor.

 Understand and follow SOPs, work instructions and safety procedures.

 Use basic measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and other gauges.





 Maintain production quality and achieve daily production targets.

 Work effectively in rotational shifts.

Required Skills:

 Hands-on CNC machine operation experience.

 Basic understanding of CNC machining processes.

 Tool change and offset correction.

 Knowledge of component inspection and measurement.

 Ability to read and follow SOPs/work instructions.

 Basic knowledge of Vernier and Micrometer.

 Understanding of 5S and shop-floor discipline.

 Basic knowledge of machine abnormalities and 5M.

 Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.

Preferred Experience:

CNC Sliding Head Machine operation experience is highly preferred.

Candidates with experience in Sliding Head / Swiss-type CNC machines will have an

advantage.

Candidate Profile:

Candidates should be technically sound, disciplined, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a production/shop-floor environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
