Head – New Ventures & Growth

About YS Group

YS Group is a growing education-focused organisation committed to delivering quality education, creating meaningful learning experiences and reaching more students and families. With a strong presence across school, higher education and skill-based initiatives, the Group continues to explore new opportunities to expand its reach and impact.

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial and result-oriented professional to join us as Head – New Ventures & Growth, with a mandate to identify, develop and drive opportunities that contribute to the Group's growth.

Position Overview

The Head – New Ventures & Growth will be responsible for driving new opportunities, admissions growth, parent outreach, strategic initiatives and new ventures across YS Group.

The role will require a combination of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. The person will work closely with the Director and senior leadership team to identify opportunities, convert them into actionable plans and ensure consistent execution.

This is not a conventional sales or admissions role. The position is intended for someone who can identify opportunities, build relationships, create initiatives and take ownership of converting opportunities into measurable growth.

- Explore opportunities for new courses, programmes, partnerships, educational services and other initiatives aligned with the Group's vision.
- Support the management in evaluating potential expansion opportunities.

3. Parent Connect & Outreach

- Develop a strong network of prospective parents, students, professionals, institutions and community stakeholders.
- Personally engage with prospective parents wherever required.

- Communicate the academic strengths, achievements, educational philosophy and differentiators of YS Group.

- Develop meaningful parent-connect initiatives that can generate future admissions opportunities.
- Maintain systematic records of prospective-parent interactions and follow-ups.

- Work closely with Principals, Vice Principals, Coordinators, Admissions Teams and other relevant stakeholders to support admission growth.
- Identify sources and channels that generate quality admissions.
- Develop and monitor admission pipelines.
- Analyse conversion ratios and identify bottlenecks in the admission process.
- Suggest improvements in the admission journey and parent experience.
- Encourage and develop internal referral and outreach opportunities.
- Work towards building a sustainable admissions pipeline rather than relying only on seasonal admission activity.

5. Strategic Partnerships

- Identify potential partnerships with schools, colleges, corporates, institutions, communities and other relevant organisations.
- Explore mutually beneficial collaborations that can expand the reach or capabilities of YS Group.
- Initiate and maintain relationships with relevant external stakeholders.
