Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and analytical professional to join our Finance team in a dual role as Accountant and Financial Analyst, with added responsibility for leading a small team. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow, ensuring compliance, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills, financial modeling capabilities, cash flow management experience, and the leadership skills to guide and develop team members.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants/analysts, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Review team members' work for accuracy and provide constructive feedback
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Act as a point of escalation for complex accounting or analytical issues
- Coordinate workload distribution to meet reporting deadlines
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture

Accounting Duties:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory filings, and internal accounting policies
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation
- Monitor and maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Process payroll-related accounting entries and ensure timely closing of books

Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow positions and prepare cash flow forecasts
- Analyze cash inflows and outflows to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop and maintain rolling cash flow models to support liquidity planning
- Coordinate with treasury/banking functions to manage working capital efficiently




- Identify and flag potential cash shortfalls or surpluses, recommending corrective action
- Support decisions on short-term investments, borrowing needs, and payment prioritization
- Financial Analysis Duties:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planningQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA/CFA a plus)
- 4–7 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis, including hands-on cash flow management
- Prior experience leading or supervising a team preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables) and financial modeling
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong leadership, delegation, and people-management abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and prior periods, identifying trends and variances
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
- Conduct cost analysis, profitability analysis, and ROI evaluations for business initiatives
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles
- Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and profitability

Preferred Skills

- Experience in cash flow forecasting, treasury coordination, or working capital optimization
- Track record of successfully managing or mentoring a team
- Understanding of internal controls and audit processes
- Ability to translate complex financial data into transparent insights for non-finance stakeholders

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
