Summary:
As a Test Automation Lead, a typical day involves spearheading the evolution of testing practices to establish a seamless and efficient quality engineering process. This role focuses on enhancing the overall testing framework by integrating advanced tools and methodologies that ensure precision and reliability. The position requires driving innovation in testing strategies, fostering continuous improvement, and overseeing the implementation of intelligent automation solutions that elevate the quality and integrity of deliverables across projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead initiatives to improve testing processes and promote best practices within the team.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align testing objectives with overall project goals.





Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
- Experience with scripting languages and test automation tools and specifically Playwright is a must skill.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and develop effective test strategies using selenium and other tools
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues efficiently.

Utilization of AI tools for design, optimization and test strategies is also an added skill

Skill Area Requirement

- Playwright Automation Strong hands-on experience in Playwright (Java/JavaScript/TypeScript) test automation.
- Automation Framework Development Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
- Functional Testing Strong knowledge of Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and UAT testing.
- Programming Good coding skills in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- API Testing Experience in API automation and validation using REST APIs.
- Test Management Tools Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), ALM, Octane, or similar tools.
- CI/CD Working knowledge of Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines,



GitHub Actions, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
- Agile Methodology Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Defect Management Robust defect tracking, root cause analysis, and reporting skills.
- Leadership Ability to lead QA activities, mentor team members, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Reporting & Metrics Experience preparing QA dashboards, test reports, and status updates for stakeholders.
- Utilization of AI tools and implementing the strategizes using them is an added value.

Nice to Have Skills

Skill Area Requirement

- Selenium Prior experience with Selenium automation or any other tool
- BDD Frameworks Experience with Cucumber, SpecFlow, or BDD methodologies or any other similar
- Performance Testing Exposure to JMeter, LoadRunner, or other performance testing tools.
- Accessibility Testing Knowledge of accessibility standards and testing practices.
- Database Testing SQL knowledge for backend validation and test data creation.
- Cloud Platforms Exposure to Azure, AWS, or any other GCP environments.
- Security Testing Basic understanding of security testing concepts.
- Banking/Financial Domain Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Wealth Management applications is an added advantage

Test Strategy & Governance Experience defining QA strategies, standards, and best practices.

Additional Information:

- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune Kharadi client office with 3 days RTO
- A 15 years full time education is required.
