## Role Overview

We are looking for a **Business Analyst** who can bridge the gap between **business requirements, product strategy, design, technology, QA, and operations**.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, translating them into clear product and functional requirements, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, coordinating with development and QA teams, and ensuring that delivered features meet business objectives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a **startup environment**, can manage ambiguity, and has strong analytical and communication skills.

## Key Responsibilities

### 1. Business & Requirement Analysis

* Understand business objectives, user needs, and operational requirements.

* Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with founders, product managers, operations, practitioners, and other stakeholders.

* Analyse existing processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation.

* Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional requirements.

* Identify dependencies, risks, assumptions, and potential implementation challenges.

### 2. Product Requirements & Documentation

* Prepare **BRDs, FRDs, PRDs, process flows, use cases, and functional specifications**.

* Create detailed **user stories and acceptance criteria** for development teams.

* Maintain requirement traceability throughout the product development lifecycle.

* Ensure requirements are documented clearly and remain aligned with product objectives.

* Support creation and maintenance of product documentation and SOPs.

### 3. Agile Product Development

* Work closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Developers, QA, and Operations.

* Participate in **Agile ceremonies**, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

* Break large business requirements into manageable epics, features, and user stories.

* Clarify requirements and resolve functional questions raised by development and QA teams.

* Support prioritisation of product backlog based on business impact and user value.





### 4. User Journey & Process Mapping

* Map end-to-end customer journeys and business workflows.

* Analyse journeys such as:

* User registration and onboarding

* Practitioner discovery

* Practitioner profile and availability

* Appointment/session booking

* Payment and transaction flow

* Session management

* Cancellation/rescheduling

* Notifications and reminders

* Ratings and reviews

* Practitioner onboarding

* Customer support and refunds

* Identify friction points and recommend improvements.

### 5. Data & Business Analysis

* Analyse product and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.

* Define KPIs and metrics required to measure feature and business performance.

* Work with product/technology teams to define dashboards and reporting requirements.

* Use data to support product decisions and prioritisation.

* Perform basic SQL/data analysis where required.

### 6. Testing & Product Validation

* Work with QA teams to ensure requirements are testable.

* Review test scenarios and test cases against business requirements.

* Participate in **UAT (User Acceptance Testing)**.

* Validate completed features against acceptance criteria.

* Identify gaps between expected and actual functionality.

* Coordinate issue clarification and resolution with relevant teams.

### 7. Stakeholder Management

* Act as a communication bridge between business and technology teams.

* Conduct requirement walkthroughs and stakeholder reviews.

* Communicate changes, dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts.

* Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical implementation.

* Provide regular status updates on assigned requirements/features.

## Required Skills

### Must Have

* 2–5 years of experience as a **Business Analyst / Product Analyst / Functional Analyst**.

* Experience working with **mobile applications, web platforms, SaaS products, marketplaces, or digital products**.

* Strong requirement-gathering and documentation skills.

* Strong understanding of **Agile/Scrum methodology**.

* Experience writing:

* User Stories

* Acceptance Criteria

* BRD/FRD

* Use Cases

* Process Flows

* Functional Specifications

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

* Excellent verbal and written communication.

* Solid stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to work with cross-functional technology teams.

### Preferred

* Experience with **healthtech, wellness, marketplace, fintech, SaaS, or consumer applications**.





* Understanding of payment gateways and transaction workflows.

* Understanding of APIs and basic system architecture.

* Basic **SQL** knowledge.

* Experience with **Jira and Confluence**.

* Experience with tools such as **Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, Draw.io, Excel, Power BI**, or equivalent.

* Exposure to AI-powered products or AI/ML concepts is an advantage.
