Logistics Executive – Domestic & Export Logistics

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Logistics Executive who can independently manage the company’s complete domestic and export logistics operations.
The candidate will be responsible for shipment planning, transporter coordination, documentation, dispatch, tracking, delivery, export shipments, freight coordination, and ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
1. Domestic Logistics
- Manage day-to-day domestic dispatch and delivery operations.
- Coordinate with transporters, courier companies, freight partners, and drivers.
- Plan shipments based on delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Prepare and verify dispatch-related documents.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Handle POD (Proof of Delivery) collection and maintain proper records.
- Coordinate with the sales, purchase, warehouse, and accounts teams.
- Resolve transportation delays, damages, shortages, and delivery-related issues.
- Negotiate transportation rates and maintain cost-effective logistics arrangements.
- Maintain records of freight costs and transportation expenses.
2. Export Logistics
- Independently manage the complete export logistics process from order readiness to final delivery.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, shipping lines, airlines, and other logistics partners.
- Prepare and verify export documentation including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Shipping Bill
- Certificate of Origin
- E-way Bill, wherever applicable
- Other export-related documents
- Coordinate for customs clearance and shipment documentation.
- Manage air and sea export shipments as per requirement.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for booking and shipment schedules.
- Track export shipments and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and submitted within required timelines.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding freight invoices and export-related payments.
- Handle shipment discrepancies, customs issues, delays, and documentation corrections.
3. Vendor & Transporter Management
- Identify and coordinate with reliable transporters and logistics service providers.
- Obtain freight quotations and compare rates.
- Negotiate freight and transportation charges.
- Maintain strong relationships with transporters, freight forwarders, and CHA.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure service quality.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain proper logistics and shipment records.
- Ensure all domestic and export documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain shipment trackers and logistics reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable transportation and export procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments for required documents and approvals.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Purchase, Warehouse, Accounts, and Management.
- Provide regular updates on shipment status.
- Prepare daily/weekly logistics reports.
- Monitor pending, dispatched, in-transit, and delivered shipments.
- Escalate critical delays or issues to management immediately.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Domestic & Export Logistics.
- Good understanding of Export Documentation & Customs Procedures.
- Experience in dealing with CHA, Freight Forwarders, Transporters and Courier Companies.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for logistics operations.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or related field will be an advantage.
Experience
2–5 years of relevant experience in Domestic & Export Logistics preferred.
Candidates with experience in medical equipment, surgical instruments, hospital equipment, manufacturing, or international trading companies will be preferred.

- On-time dispatch and delivery.
- On-time export shipment processing.
- Accuracy of logistics and export documentation.
- Freight cost control.
- Minimum shipment delays and discrepancies.
- Effective transporter/freight-forwarder management.
- Proper shipment tracking and reporting.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be someone who can independently handle both domestic and export logistics, understands the complete shipment cycle, has strong follow-up skills, and can coordinate effectively with internal teams as well as external logistics partners.
Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
