About the Role

Manoj V. Jain & Co., a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Vile Parle East, Mumbai, is hiring a Senior TDS Executive to independently manage our end-to-end TDS/TCS compliance function for clients. You'll take ownership of filings, corrections, notices, and reconciliations across all TDS forms, working closely with the TRACES and Income Tax portals. This is a senior, largely independent role suited to someone who can lead TDS operations with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end TDS filing across all forms (24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 27EQ, etc.) and TCS filing
- Compute and process timely TDS/TCS payments and advance tax payments
- Handle TDS on property transactions (resident Indian and NRI) and TDS on rent, including corrections
- Carry out TDS return corrections on TRACES – both online and offline (Conso file), including onsite corrections using DSC
- Conduct daily TDS liability review and reconciliation (Reco)



against books, purchase-sale data, and bank entries
- Draft replies to TDS notices and manage resolution/clearance of notices
- Track and follow up on TDS refund claims
- Handle PAN and TAN application/correction (all types) and TAN registration on the Income Tax and TRACES portals
- Manage Aadhaar–PAN linking compliance
- Process stamp duty payments

Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience with the TRACES portal, Income Tax e-filing portal, and TDS/TCS return utilities
- Practical experience with TDS corrections (both online and DSC-based offline correction)
- Solid understanding of TDS provisions on property, rent, and other specified payments
- Proven ability to independently draft notice responses
- High attention to detail with strong reconciliation and deadline-management skills
- Prior experience mentoring or supervising junior TDS staff is a plus
