Restaurant CashierJob Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of restaurant cashier experience in Tamil Nadu, excellent communication skills, and fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi.

The candidate should be experienced in restaurant POS systems, billing, cash handling, digital payments, customer service, and taking phone orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately enter customer orders and generate bills using the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments.
- Maintain accurate cash balances and complete daily cash reconciliation.
- Take and process phone orders accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for smooth order processing.
- Answer customer queries regarding menu items, billing, and payments.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when required.
- Ensure billing accuracy and minimize errors.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter.
- Follow company policies on cash handling, hygiene, and customer service.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Cashier in Tamil Nadu.
- Experience in a South Indian Vegetarian Restaurant is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of restaurant POS and billing systems.
- Solid numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Fluent in English, Tamil, and Hindi.
- Malayalam or Arabic language skills will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Experience taking and managing phone orders.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

- Graduate or Diploma holder preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and POS systems.
- Previous UAE/Gulf restaurant experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Ideal Candidate

Pay: ₹36,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
