Job Purpose

The Electrical Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring all electrical works across construction projects. The role involves managing electrical installations, ensuring quality and safety compliance, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors, and delivering projects within budget and timelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution

- Lead and manage all electrical activities for residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction projects.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules.
- Prepare construction methodologies, resource plans, and work schedules.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of electrical works.

Site Management

- Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and electrical workforce.
- Ensure installation of electrical systems as per approved drawings and project specifications.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing teams for seamless project execution.
- Resolve technical issues arising during construction.

Electrical Systems Management

- Oversee installation and commissioning of:
- HT/LT Panels
- Transformers
- DG Sets
- Cable Trays & Cabling
- Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems
- Internal & External Electrification
- Lighting Systems
- Fire Alarm & ELV Systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS)

Quality Assurance & Compliance





- Ensure all installations comply with local electrical regulations, NBC/IEC standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Review method statements, inspection requests, and quality reports.
- Maintain project documentation and records.

Safety Management

- Enforce electrical safety standards and site HSE requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks.
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

Commercial & Cost Control

- Prepare electrical project budgets and monitor costs.
- Evaluate subcontractor bills, vendor quotations, and work orders.
- Monitor material consumption and avoid wastage.
- Identify value engineering opportunities for cost optimization.

Client & Stakeholder Coordination

- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, utility authorities, and contractors.
- Attend project progress meetings and provide technical updates.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with authorities.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor project engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Conduct performance reviews and training programs.
- Ensure effective manpower planning and productivity.

Pay: From ₹70,000.00 per month
