Career Advisor – US Staffing

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Summary

We are looking for a confident and motivated Career Advisor to guide candidates throughout their job-search and placement journey. The role involves understanding candidate profiles, recommending suitable opportunities, providing career guidance, coordinating with recruitment teams, and maintaining strong candidate relationships. Similar Ahmedabad US-staffing Career Advisor roles emphasize candidate counseling, resume/profile support, interview coordination, follow-up, and candidate tracking.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with candidates through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
- Understand candidates' skills, experience, career goals, work authorization, and job preferences.
- Provide personalized career guidance and recommend suitable job opportunities.
- Review and optimize candidate resumes according to US-market requirements.
- Guide candidates on job-search strategies, profile positioning, and interview preparation.
- Explain the US recruitment and placement process clearly to candidates.
- Coordinate with Recruiters and Bench Sales Recruiters regarding candidate profiles and opportunities.
- Track applications, submissions, interviews, feedback, and placement status.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with candidates and keep them engaged throughout the hiring process.
- Handle candidate questions, concerns, and objections professionally.
- Maintain accurate candidate records using CRM, ATS, Excel, or Google Sheets.
- Coordinate interview schedules, feedback, documentation, and onboarding.
- Build long-term relationships with candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Achieve assigned candidate engagement, interview, and placement targets.

Required Skills





- Minimum 1 year of experience in Career Counseling, Recruitment, US Staffing, Placement, Inside Sales, Customer Relationship Management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and convincing skills.
- Good follow-up and relationship-management abilities.
- Robust understanding of recruitment and job-search processes.
- Basic knowledge of US staffing is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and CRM/ATS.
- Ability to manage multiple candidates and priorities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Comfortable working in a US night shift.
