Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, experienced, and supportive Graphic Design Mentor to guide students and aspiring designers in developing their design skills. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of graphic design principles, practical industry experience, and excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Mentoring and Training

- Guide students and learners in understanding graphic design concepts and principles.

- Conduct practical training sessions, workshops, and one-on-one mentoring.

- Teach design fundamentals such as typography, color theory, composition, branding, and layout.

- Help learners develop creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Provide clear explanations, demonstrations, and constructive feedback.

Software and Technical Training

- Train students in industry

-standard design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or similar software.

- Demonstrate practical techniques and professional design workflows.

- Help learners create designs for print, digital media, social media, branding, and marketing materials.

- Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and industry practices.

Portfolio and Project Guidance

- Guide students in developing professional design projects and portfolios.

- Review assignments, projects, and design work regularly.

- Provide feedback to improve creativity, technical execution, and presentation.





- Support learners in preparing portfolios for internships, jobs, or freelance opportunities.

- Encourage students to complete projects within deadlines.

Student Support and Coordination

- Track student progress and maintain training-related records.

- Communicate with students regarding assignments, schedules, and project requirements. - Coordinate with management and other trainers when required.

- Motivate students and create a positive, engaging learning environment.

- Address learner questions and provide additional support when needed.

Requirements

- Strong knowledge of graphic design principles and visual communication.

- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or related design tools.

- Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.

- Practical experience in graphic design, branding, digital media, or related fields.

- Ability to explain design concepts clearly to beginners and advanced learners.

- Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

- Portfolio of qualified graphic design work

- Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring

- Knowledge of branding, social media design, and digital marketing creatives
