This is a strategic leadership role responsible for strengthening KNAV's global governance, network-wide risk management, compliance, acquisition integration, and commercial risk capabilities. This role will help ensure that KNAV can scale globally in a structured, risk-aware, and compliant manner while supporting innovation, technology adoption, and international growth. The role involves responsibility for protecting the network’s value, regulatory licenses, and reputation while enabling the firm's growth strategy, acquisitions, and technology adoption.

Required skills & experience

- 12+ years of experience in risk management, governance, quality, compliance, or professional services risk functions within a Big Four, Top 20 accounting firm, or international professional services network.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management, regulatory compliance, and qualified services operations.
- Experience working with international network of accounting firms, multi-country operations, and post-acquisition integration programs.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, board reporting, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop practical frameworks, drive implementation, and manage cross-functional initiatives.
- High integrity, sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a global mindset.

Preferred experience

Exposure to international accounting networks, commercial risk management, and M&A; integration.





Reporting

The role will work closely with the finance, quality & risk management, and country leadership teams. The position will report day-to-day to the Partner – Risk & Governance and will provide quarterly reporting to the Risk Committee on key risks, governance matters, emerging issues, and remediation progress.

Role responsibilities

- Global risk management

Own KNAV's global risk framework, risk registers, risk assessments, mitigation plans, and leadership reporting to ensure emerging risks are identified and addressed proactively.

- Governance & leadership reporting

Design and maintain governance structures, approval authorities, policies, governance dashboards, and board/executive reporting that support decision-making across the firm.

- Global network-wide firm oversight

Oversee governance and risk processes across KNAV network member firms, including onboarding, independence reviews, and Forum of Firms reporting obligations.

- Acquisition & integration governance

Develop and execute integration frameworks for acquisitions and new member firms covering governance, risk, compliance, technology, reporting, remediation, and operating model alignment.

- Commercial & regulatory risk

Provide governance oversight for client contracts, strategic alliances, insurance programs, regulatory developments, professional liability exposures, and evolving international standards.
