ob Purpose:

To support the productive and accurate execution of cash management and accounts payable functions in the shipping finance operations. The role involves managing vendor payments, reconciling accounts, ensuring liquidity management, and working closely with internal stakeholders and banks to optimize the payment process while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Job Duties:

Sr No Description

1 Monitor daily cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational and vendor payment needs.

2 Coordinate with banks for payments, fund transfers, and treasury-related activities.

3 Support bank reconciliations and ensure timely closure of open items.

4 Assist with FX conversions, ROE validations, and cash pooling where applicable.

5 Review, validate, and process vendor invoices in compliance with agreed terms and company policies.

6 Handle payment processing via banking portals or ERP systems, ensuring timely disbursements.

7 Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for invoice clarifications and payment follow-ups.

8 Perform periodic vendor account reconciliations and ageing analysis.

9 Support the month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP.

10 Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, audit requirements, and company finance policies.

11 Assist in preparing cash flow reports, payment forecasts,



and AP summaries for management.

12 Maintain up-to-date documentation of cash and AP processes and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Act as a liaison between finance, procurement, operations, and external vendors.

14 Support internal and external audits by providing required data and reconciliations.

Customers, Ship management, port authorities/vendors, suppliers, sub-agents, charterer’s agents

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Sr No Description

1 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce. MBA or professional certifications

2 Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 2-3 years in Cash Management or Accounts Payable.

3 Working knowledge of Accounting ERP systems

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
