We are looking for a skilled and responsible CT Technician to perform CT examinations efficiently and safely, ensuring proper patient care, image quality and adherence to radiation-safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans according to doctors’ instructions and hospital protocols.
- Prepare and position patients correctly for CT examinations.
- Operate CT scanner safely and efficiently.
- Select appropriate scanning parameters and protocols as required.
- Assist in contrast-enhanced CT examinations as per established protocols and medical supervision.
- Monitor patients during the procedure and report any complications immediately.
- Ensure correct patient identification and examination details before scanning.
- Maintain CT scan records and required documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the CT room and equipment.
- Follow all radiation-safety and infection-control procedures.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and promptly report technical issues.
- Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses and other departments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Handle emergency cases and patients requiring special attention.
- Ensure proper image transfer and storage in the hospital imaging system/PACS, where applicable.
