Role Description The Clinical Psychology Intern will support mental health initiatives within the institute by assisting with student counseling sessions, under supervision from qualified professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities may include conducting basic psychological assessments, maintaining case notes, and helping design and deliver workshops on stress management, motivation, and well-being for learners.
The intern will collaborate with trainers and administrative staff to identify students who may benefit from additional support, contribute to wellness-focused content or resources, and participate in review meetings to discuss case progress and intervention plans. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring consistent presence during training schedules and student interaction hours.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of clinical psychology, including basic assessment methods, counseling principles, and mental health concepts.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills to build rapport with diverse learners and work effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, accurate records, and professional boundaries in all student interactions.
- Comfort with using digital tools (e.g., basic office software, online forms, learning platforms) to support documentation and coordination.
- Enrollment in or recent completion of a graduate-level program in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field.
- Interest in working with student populations in a technology and training workplace; prior internship or counseling exposure is an advantage.
- Demonstrated empathy, resilience, and a commitment to ethical practice and continuous learning in mental health support.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹14,890.40 per month
