- Inventory Management: Conduct regular physical stock counts, track stock turnover, and prevent overstocking, spoilage, or shrinkage.
- Recipe and Menu Costing: Maintain standardized recipes, calculate accurate plate/drink costs, and help management set profitable menu prices.
- Variance Analysis: Compare actual costs against budgeted targets and investigate significant variances.
- POS and Revenue Auditing: Monitor Point of Sale (POS) transactions, void items, discounts, employee meals, and complimentary items.
- Reporting: Prepare daily operational tallies, weekly flash costs, and comprehensive monthly consumption reports.
- Supplier Coordination: Work with purchasing teams and suppliers to verify deliveries, invoice pricing, and cost-effective sourcing
