Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced OT In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of the Operation Theatre. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth OT functioning, maintaining safety and hygiene standards, coordinating with surgeons, anesthetists and nursing staff, and ensuring proper availability of OT equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily Operation Theatre activities and ensure smooth functioning.
- Coordinate OT schedules with surgeons, anesthetists, nursing staff and other departments.
- Ensure proper preparation of OT before every surgery.
- Maintain strict standards of sterilization, infection control and OT hygiene.
- Check availability and working condition of OT instruments, equipment and essential supplies.
- Ensure proper handling, counting and maintenance of surgical instruments.
- Supervise OT staff and allocate duties as required.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, OT protocols and patient-safety guidelines.
- Maintain OT registers, records, checklists and documentation.
- Monitor stock of medicines,



consumables, surgical items and other OT supplies.
- Coordinate with CSSD, pharmacy, stores, housekeeping and biomedical departments.
- Ensure proper cleaning and disinfection of the OT after each procedure.
- Report equipment problems, shortages or other operational issues to the concerned authority.
- Support emergency and scheduled surgical procedures as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Relevant qualification in Operation Theatre Technology .
- Prior experience in an Operation Theatre, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Positive knowledge of OT protocols, sterilization and infection-control practices.
- Good leadership, communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage staff and work efficiently under pressure.
- Responsible, disciplined and patient-safety oriented.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
