Job Responsibilities

- Operate conventional/manual milling machines for SPM components.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings and dimensions.
- Perform milling, drilling, slotting, tapping and facing operations.
- Set and align jobs, cutters and workpieces accurately.
- Use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Inspect components during and after machining.
- Follow production schedules and quality standards.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.

Required Skills





- Robust experience in Manual Milling Machine Operation.
- Good knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.
- Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of tolerances, fits and measurements.
- SPM / Automation manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma – Mechanical preferred.

Experience

5–8 years relevant experience in Manual Milling, preferably in the SPM / Automation field.
