Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive Fabric Follow-up Executive to ensure that fabric requirements for all active and upcoming orders are identified, followed up and made available on time.

The person needs to continuously monitor fabric requirements from order confirmation through production availability and immediately identify shortages, delays or risks that may affect production and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Track fabric requirements for current and upcoming orders.
- Review order-wise fabric requirements with the Merchandising and Production teams.
- Maintain an updated fabric requirement and availability tracker.
- Follow up with suppliers and Purchase teams regarding fabric orders.
- Confirm supplier commitments and expected delivery dates.
- Track fabric dispatches and transportation.
- Monitor expected arrival dates.
- Follow up on delayed or partially supplied fabric.
- Identify shortages or quantity discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Quality / Inspection teams where required.
- Inform the Factory Manager of potential fabric-related production risks.
- Maintain order-wise fabric status.
- Ensure urgent fabric requirements receive immediate attention.
- Coordinate with the Merchandiser to understand production and delivery priorities.
- Follow up until the required fabric is physically available for production.




- Maintain proper records of pending fabric requirements and supplier commitments.

Daily Monitoring

The person should be able to answer:

- What fabric is required?
- For which order?
- How much is required?
- How much has arrived?
- What is pending?
- When is the balance expected?
- Which order is at risk?
- What action is currently being taken?

Candidate Profile

- 3–5 years of experience in garment / textile manufacturing or fabric follow-up.
- Good understanding of fabrics and garment production requirements.
- Experience coordinating with fabric suppliers will be preferred.
- Robust follow-up skills with good communication and negotiation ability.
- Ability to maintain order-wise trackers on Excel.
- Strong sense of urgency and ownership.
- Must be comfortable coordinating with multiple departments and suppliers.

Job Details

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.)
