Job Purpose:

To independently manage gold purity assessment, valuation and transaction verification while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct gold purity testing and valuation.
- Weigh and assess gold accurately using approved equipment.
- Identify doubtful, altered or potentially counterfeit gold.
- Determine gold value based on purity, weight and approved company rates.
- Explain valuation and transaction details to customers.
- Verify customer and transaction details before processing.
- Maintain accurate valuation and transaction records.
- Monitor daily gold, valuation and transaction records.
- Coordinate with the Store Coordinator for customer processing and documentation.
- Supervise the Office Assistant in day-to-day activities.
- Conduct daily opening and closing operational checks.
- Report discrepancies, unusual transactions and operational issues to the Gold Business Lead/Central Team.
- Support daily MIS and reporting requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
- Ensure accuracy,



integrity and proper control in all gold-related activities.

Education:

- Minimum 12th Pass required.
- Graduate in any discipline will be preferred.
- Relevant certification/training in gold appraisal, jewellery or precious metals will be an added advantage.

Experience:

- 4–7 years of relevant experience in gold valuation, gold appraisal, jewellery, bullion, gold loan, or precious metals.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in gold purity testing and valuation will be preferred.
- Experience handling high-value gold transactions will be an advantage.
