Job Summary

Durall System India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an ITI Fitter / Aluminium & Glass Technician to support the fabrication, assembly and installation of high-quality aluminium windows, doors and large architectural glass systems.

The candidate will work on large-size aluminium and glass windows and doors for villas and premium residential projects, including oversized window systems that may reach approximately 20 feet in height.

The role requires positive practical knowledge of fitting, measuring, drilling, cutting, assembly, hardware installation and safe handling of aluminium profiles and glass.

Key ResponsibilitiesAluminium Fabrication & Fitting

- Fabricate and assemble aluminium window and door frames as per drawings and measurements.
- Perform cutting, drilling, grinding, routing and other fitting operations on aluminium profiles.
- Assemble aluminium frames, shutters, sliding systems and fixed window systems.
- Install and adjust hinges, rollers, handles, locks, brackets, fasteners and other hardware.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, squareness and finishing of fabricated frames.
- Use measuring tools such as measuring tape, spirit level, vernier caliper and other relevant tools.
- Read and understand basic fabrication drawings and installation drawings.

Glass Installation & Handling

- Assist in the safe handling, movement and installation of glass panels.
- Support installation of glass into aluminium frames and large window systems.
- Use appropriate suction lifters, clamps, lifting equipment and other approved tools.
- Ensure glass is properly positioned, supported, sealed and secured.
- Take special care while handling large and heavy glass panels.
- Follow all safety procedures during glass handling and installation.





Site Installation

- Install aluminium windows, doors, sliding systems and glass assemblies at villas and project sites.
- Check site openings and dimensions before installation.
- Fix frames securely using approved fasteners and installation methods.
- Carry out alignment, leveling, adjustment and finishing work at site.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers and other site teams.
- Complete installation work according to project drawings, quality standards and timelines.

Maintenance & Adjustment

- Identify and rectify fitting, alignment and hardware-related issues.
- Adjust sliding shutters, rollers, locks, hinges and other hardware.
- Replace damaged or defective components when required.
- Attend site complaints and carry out necessary rectification work.

Safety Responsibilities

Because the company handles large aluminium and glass systems and high-level villa installations, safety is a critical responsibility.

- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Use safety shoes, gloves, helmets, safety harnesses and other PPE as required.
- Follow approved procedures for working at height.
- Never handle large glass panels without adequate manpower and/or approved lifting equipment.
- Follow safe practices while using ladders, scaffolding, lifting equipment and power tools.
- Keep the work area clean and free from hazards.
- Immediately report damaged glass, unsafe equipment or hazardous site conditions to the supervisor.
- Do not perform high-risk work without proper authorization and safety arrangements.

Required Skills

- Good practical fitting and mechanical skills.
- Basic understanding of aluminium profiles and window/door systems.
- Ability to measure accurately.
- Ability to understand basic technical/fabrication drawings.
- Good hand-tool and power-tool handling skills.
- Ability to work with a team during installation of large window and glass systems.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at project sites.
- Willingness to travel to villa/project sites as required.
- Strong attention to safety, quality and finishing.
- Ability to work at height with proper safety equipment and supervision.

Qualification

Preferred ITI Trades:

- ITI Fitter
- ITI Mechanical
- ITI Welder
- ITI Electrician
- Other relevant technical trades

Experience: 0–3 years.

Fresh ITI candidates may also be considered and trained according to company requirements.

Reporting

Reports To: Site Supervisor / Production Supervisor / Project Manager

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, technically inclined and willing to work on large aluminium and glass window systems. Candidates who have experience in aluminium fabrication, window/door installation, façade work, glass installation or interior/exterior construction projects will be preferred.

Important: Experience working with large-size windows, villa projects, aluminium sliding systems, glass doors or high-level installations will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
