Role: Sr. Business Analyst – HIS / EMR Implementation
Experience: 6–8 Years
Location: Mumbai – Client Office
Work Model: Onsite

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst – HIS / EMR Implementation with strong expertise in the Indian healthcare domain. The candidate will work closely with hospital stakeholders, end users, IT teams, and vendors to support the analysis, documentation, implementation, testing, and successful rollout of Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solutions.

The candidate must have strong healthcare implementation experience and should be comfortable explaining software modules and functionality clearly to business users and other stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements

- 6–8 years of overall experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst
- Minimum 4.5+ years of experience in the Indian healthcare domain – Mandatory
- HIS implementation experience – Mandatory
- Strong understanding of HIS / EMR systems and hospital workflows
- Must be able to speak Marathi
- Must have the ability to clearly explain software modules, workflows, and system functionality to users and stakeholders
- Willingness to work onsite from the client's Mumbai office

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Gathering & Documentation

- Gather business and functional requirements from hospital departments and end users
- Understand operational requirements, workflows, challenges, and pain points
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and requirement traceability matrices
- Review, validate, document,



and maintain business requirements throughout the implementation lifecycle

HIS / EMR Implementation

- Support end-to-end HIS/EMR implementation activities
- Understand hospital software modules and explain their functionality clearly to users
- Work closely with clinical, administrative, technical, and vendor teams
- Ensure system configuration and functionality align with hospital business requirements
- Support implementation activities through testing, go-live, and stabilization

Process & Workflow Analysis

- Map as-is and to-be workflows for clinical and administrative processes
- Identify gaps and support process improvements related to HIS/EMR implementation
- Maintain documentation for workflows, SOPs, forms, and business rules
- Coordinate with SMEs and hospital users to validate process accuracy

Stakeholder Coordination

- Work closely with project managers, senior analysts, hospital users, IT teams, SMEs, and vendors
- Conduct/support requirement and solution workshops
- Follow up on requirement clarifications, approvals, pending inputs, and action items
- Communicate software functionality and implementation progress effectively to stakeholders

Testing & Validation

- Prepare test scenarios and test cases and support SIT and UAT
- Log defects, track resolutions, and perform retesting




- Validate system functionality against documented requirements
- Assist hospital users during testing and issue reproduction

Data Migration, Training & Go-Live

- Support master-data collection, validation, and migration
- Prepare/support user-training documentation
- Explain HIS/EMR modules and processes to end users
- Provide support during go-live, hypercare, and stabilization
- Track production issues, user feedback, and enhancement requests

- Experience working directly on hospital implementation projects
- Strong understanding of clinical and administrative hospital operations
- Experience with data migration, UAT, user training, go-live, and stabilization
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and digital health systems
- Business Analysis certification or relevant training is an advantage

Pay: ₹110,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
