Ecommerce Marketplace Specialist

Location: Mumbai (Andheri East – near Western Express Highway Metro)

Experience: 3–5 years (5+ preferred for senior candidates)

Role Overview

We are seeking an analytical, results-driven e-commerce marketplace specialist with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience to own and scale our presence across major online marketplaces (such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) and D2C websites. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our marketplace accounts, focusing on catalogue optimisation, inventory health, revenue growth, and operations. You will also be responsible for developing and executing high-performing advertising strategies. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of marketplace algorithms, exceptional data analysis skills, and a proven track record of running smooth operations and maximising ROAS and improving organic rankings.

Key Responsibilities

- Catalogue & Listing Optimisation: Create, optimise, and maintain high-quality product listings. Elevate product titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords, and A+ content to maximise search visibility and conversion rates.
- Account Health & Compliance: Monitor daily account health, seller metrics, customer feedback, and performance scores. Promptly troubleshoot listing suppressions, catalogue errors, and marketplace compliance issues.
- Commercial Operations: Manage order processing, pricing updates, invoicing accuracy, and credit and payment tracking. Ensure smooth coordination between finance, operations, and supply chain. Maintain compliance with commercial terms and agreements.
- Customer Experience & Issue Resolution: Monitor customer feedback and reviews across platforms. Resolve customer-related issues in coordination with internal teams. Ensure brand reputation and service quality are maintained.




- Advertising & PPC Management: Plan, execute, and optimise paid marketplace advertising campaigns (e.g., Amazon Sponsored Products/Brands). Actively track and improve key metrics, including ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and FBA/WFS inventory replenishment.
- Promotions & Merchandising: Design and execute strategic promotional calendars, including lightning deals, coupons, and seasonal sales events to drive volume and market share.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage marketplace analytics tools and spreadsheets (vlookups, pivot tables) to generate weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity. Deliver transparent, actionable insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated experience managing multi-channel online marketplaces (Amazon Seller Central experience is required; Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) and D2C websites.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with marketplace tools and software, strong advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities for data management.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong multitasking abilities, ability to handle multiple stakeholders, high ownership, emotional intelligence, and a proactive problem-solving attitude.

Preferred Background

- Experience in e-commerce, distribution, or cross-border trade.
- Exposure to marketplaces + D2C brand operations.
- Experience handling high-value or international clients.
- Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, or import operations.
