Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – HR & IR to lead Human Resources, Industrial Relations, statutory compliance, and payroll functions at our manufacturing facility in Gummidipoondi.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling employee relations and HR operations in an industrial/manufacturing environment, with sound knowledge of labour laws, compliance requirements, and workforce management.

Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources

- Lead end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing unit.
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention.
- Develop and implement HR policies and processes aligned with business requirements.
- Drive performance management, training, and employee development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Industrial Relations

- Manage day-to-day industrial relations and employee grievance matters.
- Handle negotiations and communication with workmen and employee representatives/unions.
- Support dispute resolution and maintain a positive and productive workplace environment.
- Monitor absenteeism, attrition, discipline, productivity, and workforce-related issues.
- Ensure effective communication between management and employees.

Statutory Compliance





- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Manage inspections, statutory registers, returns, licences, and labour-law documentation.
- Coordinate with government/labour authorities whenever required.
- Ensure compliance related to wages, working conditions, employee benefits, and other applicable regulations.

Payroll & Compensation

- Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timely disbursement.
- Manage attendance, leave, overtime, deductions, and payroll-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable payroll-related statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with finance and other stakeholders for payroll closure.

Candidate Profile

- 17–20 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Robust hands-on experience in Industrial Relations, HR Operations, Labour Compliance, and Payroll.
- Prior experience in the iron casting/foundry industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, grievance-handling, and people-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage HR & IR operations in a factory environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates currently working or having significant experience in iron casting,Foundry will be given preference.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
