Sansu is a 37 year old Gravity Die Casting company setting up LPDC and PDC facilities in Narsapura Industrial Area (after Hoskote on Old Madras Road).
We are looking for a smart, independent Quality engineer who can manage IATF documentation, prepare timely reports, handle and ensure process compliance and interact with customer complaints. Should be Diploma/BE with minimum 4 years of experience. For an HPDC (High Pressure Die Casting) QC Engineer, the main responsibility is to ensure the casting meets drawing, customer specifications, process standards, and quality requirements from raw material through final inspection.
HPDC QC Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Incoming Inspection
Check aluminium ingots, master alloy, inserts and other incoming materials against specifications and certificates.
2. In-Process Inspection
Monitor casting dimensions, weight, visual defects, porosity, flash, cracks, cold shut, misrun, dents and other defects.
3. Process Monitoring
Verify critical HPDC parameters such as metal temperature, die temperature, injection speed, pressure, shot profile, cycle time and lubrication.
4. First Piece Inspection
Conduct first-off/first-piece inspection after die setup, tool correction or process change.
5. Dimensional Inspection
Use vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, CMM and other instruments as applicable.
6. Visual Inspection
Inspect 100% or sampling parts according to the Control Plan and customer requirements.
7. Defect Analysis
Identify casting defects and perform root-cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.
8. Rejection Control
Record rejection, rework and scrap; analyze rejection trends and implement corrective actions.
9. Control Plan & PFMEA
Follow and update PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram and inspection standards when process changes occur.
10. Gauge & Instrument Control
Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and calibration status is maintained.
11. Customer Requirements
Ensure customer-specific requirements, drawings, specifications and inspection standards are followed.
12. Traceability
Maintain batch/lot traceability from raw material to finished casting.
13. NCR & CAPA
Raise NCRs, contain affected material, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
14. 8D / Customer Complaints
Support preparation of 8D reports and implement corrective actions for customer complaints.
15. Final Inspection
Verify final dimensions, appearance, machining condition, weight and other specified characteristics before dispatch.
16. Documentation
Maintain inspection reports, rejection reports, SPC records, calibration records, test certificates and other quality records.
17. SPC & Quality Data
Monitor CTQ characteristics using SPC, Cp/Cpk and trend analysis where applicable.
18. Process Audit
Conduct regular process audits and verify compliance with standard operating procedures and Control Plan.
19. Improvement
Work with Production, Die Maintenance and Process Engineering teams to reduce rejection, improve FPY and stabilize the process.
20. Safety & 5S
Follow quality, safety, 5S and company procedures within the HPDC area.
