Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech Textile Technology / Textile Engineering
- Diploma in Textile Technology may be considered for experienced candidates

Experience

- 10 to 15+ years in Sizing & Weaving Preparatory operations
- Experience in contemporary sizing machines and woven fabric manufacturing
- Exposure to Airjet, Rapier, Sulzer or Projectile weaving will be preferred

Production Management

- Plan and monitor daily sizing production as per weaving requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of sized beams to meet loom planning schedules.
- Optimize machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with Warping, Weaving, Yarn Store, and PPC teams.

Process Control

- Monitor sizing recipe preparation and application.
- Maintain sizing parameters such as:
- Size pick-up %
- Moisture %
- Stretch %
- Viscosity
- Temperature
- Warp tension
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.

Quality Assurance

- Achieve desired warp strength and abrasion resistance.
- Minimize end breaks and loom stoppages due to sizing defects.
- Analyze and reduce defects related to:
- Sticky ends
- Hard sizing
- Soft sizing
- Beam faults
- Poor penetration




- Conduct regular quality inspections of sized beams.

Maintenance & Machine Efficiency

- Coordinate preventive maintenance of sizing machines.
- Reduce machine downtime and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure availability of machine spares and consumables.

Cost Control

- Monitor size chemical consumption.
- Optimize utilization of:
- Starch
- PVA
- Binders
- Lubricants
- Other sizing chemicals
- Control wastage and improve cost efficiency.
- Participate in budgeting and cost-saving initiatives.

Manpower Management

- Lead and supervise supervisors, operators, helpers, and contract workers.
- Manage manpower deployment according to production requirements.
- Conduct training and skill development programs.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to safety standards and housekeeping practices.
- Implement 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain departmental records and production reports

Pay: ₹23,250.51 - ₹50,662.55 per month
