Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems on Microsoft Azure that improve the customer experience. You’ll be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet client needs. The ideal candidate has a solid background in software engineering, hands-on Azure experience, and is comfortable working with developers to ensure software delivery follows established, automated processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
- Provision and manage Azure infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
- Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Understand stakeholder needs and translate them into automated, reliable delivery pipelines for developers.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Identify technical problems and develop fixes, performing root cause analysis on production issues.
- Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats using Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID, and Key Vault.
- Deploy updates and fixes,



and provide Level 2 technical support.
- Build scripts and tooling to automate repetitive work and reduce error rates.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Plan projects and contribute to project management decisions alongside developers and engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, MCA, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role, with hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep/ARM templates.
- Experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows (Azure Repos, GitHub, or GitLab).
- Good scripting ability in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit.

Valuable to Have

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog alongside native Azure tooling.
- Familiarity with Azure governance and security practices (Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Entra ID).
- Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS or GCP) in addition to Azure.
- Experience mentoring engineers transitioning into cloud or DevOps roles.
- Relevant certification such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.

Eligibility

- 3+ years of hands-on DevOps/Azure engineering experience.
- Available to work on-site in Gurugram, 5 days a week.
