Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in HVAC systems, Chiller Maintenance, and General Mechanical Maintenance to join our Operations & Maintenance team at GIFT City, Gandhinagar. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of all mechanical systems and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

HVAC & Chiller Operations

Operate and maintain HVAC systems, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, AHUs, FCUs, and associated equipment.

Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.

Monitor system performance and ensure optimum efficiency and energy utilization.

Diagnose faults and execute corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Coordinate emergency maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

Mechanical Maintenance

Carry out maintenance of mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, piping networks, compressors, and utility systems.

Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components as required.

Monitor equipment health and implement reliability improvement initiatives.

Ensure smooth functioning of all mechanical assets within the facility.

Support shutdown planning and execution of maintenance activities.

Maintenance Planning & Compliance

Prepare maintenance schedules, reports, logs, and equipment history records.

Ensure adherence to safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company standards.





Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work.

Maintain critical spare inventory and ensure timely availability of replacement parts.

Technical Support

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs;, and technical manuals.

Participate in equipment commissioning, testing, and performance evaluation.

Recommend improvements for operational efficiency and equipment reliability.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in HVAC systems, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Motors, and Mechanical Utilities.

Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices.

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and utility systems.

Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance best practices.

Valuable communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Candidate Requirements

B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 6 years of experience in HVAC, Chiller Maintenance, and Mechanical Maintenance.

Experience in commercial buildings, district cooling plants, industrial plants, data centers, or large infrastructure facilities will be preferred.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
