About the Role

Kriya Industrial Automation is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team for project coordination and mechanical execution support.

This is a company-based coordination role, not a dedicated workshop position. The candidate should have practical knowledge of workshop, fabrication, machining, and assembly activities to effectively coordinate with workshop teams, vendors, fabricators, and project personnel.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with workshop and fabrication teams
- Follow up on mechanical project activities and progress
- Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and suppliers
- Understand mechanical drawings, BOMs, dimensions, and fabrication requirements
- Communicate project requirements to execution teams
- Follow up on material requirements and delivery schedules
- Coordinate project activities and ensure timely completion
- Identify issues/delays and coordinate for resolution




- Support installation and project-site activities when required
- Maintain regular project follow-ups and updates

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Practical knowledge of workshop and fabrication work
- Understanding of machining, welding, fabrication, and assembly
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings
- Positive communication and coordination skills
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving ability
- Basic AutoCAD/SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage
- Willingness to visit project/customer sites when required
