· Prepare comprehensive DPRs covering project background, technology/process selection, plant layout, capacity planning, machinery and raw material requirements, manpower planning, and implementation timelines
· Conduct market research and demand-supply analysis for recycled outputs (e.g., recovered metals, recycled rubber/crumb, recovered plastics, refined materials from e-waste)
· Build financial models — capex/opex estimation, revenue projections, break-even analysis, ROI, IRR, and payback period calculations
· Research applicable regulatory, environmental, and licensing requirements (CPCB/SPCB norms, EPR guidelines, consent to establish/operate, hazardous waste rules) relevant to the specific plant type
· Liaise with technology suppliers, machinery vendors, and industry experts to gather accurate technical inputs
· Benchmark against existing/operational plants and case studies to validate assumptions
· Coordinate with internal compliance and consulting teams to ensure DPRs align with statutory and lender/investor requirements (banks, NBFCs, government subsidy schemes)
· Present findings and reports clearly to clients, refining based on feedback
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor's/Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field

· Strong research and analytical skills; ability to independently gather and validate technical/market data
· Proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling) and MS Word/PowerPoint (report and presentation preparation)
· Understanding of basic project finance concepts (capex, opex, IRR, NPV, payback period)
· Familiarity with environmental compliance frameworks in India (CPCB, SPCB, EPR, hazardous waste management) is a robust plus
· Excellent written communication skills — able to translate technical/financial research into a clear, structured report
· Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on multiple projects with tight timelines
Good to Have
· Prior exposure to battery recycling, e-waste, tyre pyrolysis, or other circular economy/waste-to-resource projects
· Experience preparing reports for bank loans, government subsidy schemes (e.g., PLI, MSME schemes), or investor pitches
· Basic knowledge of plant machinery/process flow for recycling operations
