Job Description

We are looking for an EV Scooty PDI Technician responsible for conducting Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of electric scooters before dispatch. The candidate will inspect, test, and ensure that each vehicle meets the company's quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct complete PDI of electric scooters before delivery/dispatch.

Check battery, motor, controller, charger, wiring and electrical connections.

Inspect brakes, tyres, suspension, lights, indicators, horn and switches.

Check accelerator, display, throttle response and vehicle performance.

Verify battery charging, range-related parameters and basic electrical functions.

Identify manufacturing defects, loose connections, abnormal sounds or other issues.

Carry out basic troubleshooting and minor corrections where required.

Ensure proper fitment of body panels, seats, mirrors and other components.

Complete PDI checklist and maintain inspection records.

Coordinate with Production, Quality and Service teams for rectification of defects.

Ensure vehicles are clean, properly assembled and ready for dispatch.

Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Electrical,



Electronics or Mechanical preferred.

1–3 years of experience in EV, automobile or two-wheeler inspection/service preferred.

Basic knowledge of electric scooters and lithium-ion battery systems.

Ability to use basic electrical/diagnostic tools.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Salary

₹8,000 – ₹15,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
