Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement at our Coimbatore manufacturing plant. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspection, identifying defects, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Identify product and process defects and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and follow up on effectiveness.
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
- Use quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and Pareto Analysis.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Stores, and Purchase teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap and work toward reducing quality losses.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, inspection standards, and control plans.
- Conduct calibration checks and maintain records of measuring instruments.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Assist in developing and improving quality standards and processes.




- Train production operators on quality requirements and inspection procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and safety standards.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of manufacturing and quality-control processes.
- Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, Control Plan, and SOPs.
- Experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other inspection tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production and other departments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience

Experience in manufacturing, engineering components, pumps, motors, plastic components, sheet-metal components, or similar industrial products will be preferred.

- Reduction in rejection and rework.
- Improvement in first-pass quality.
- Timely closure of customer/internal quality complaints.
- CAPA effectiveness and closure.
- Reduction in process defects.
- Compliance with inspection and quality documentation requirements.
- Audit performance and process compliance.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
