About the Role

AG NextGen Technologies is looking for a technically strong and passionate R&D; Team Lead to lead our R&D; team, drive innovation, manage technical projects, and transform ideas into practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and manage the R&D; team.
- Plan and execute R&D; projects from concept to implementation.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Lead PoC, prototyping, testing, and product development.
- Define technical solutions, architecture, and development standards.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
- Solve complex technical challenges and support team members.
- Collaborate with engineering, software, design, and management teams.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
- Encourage innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- 3–6+ years of relevant experience.




- Previous team leadership or mentoring experience preferred.
- Strong programming and software development fundamentals.
- Good understanding of system design, APIs, databases, Git, and testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum is an advantage.
