Since 2008, PayPoint has built a large retail network enabling retailers and entrepreneurs to offer services such as banking, digital payments, money transfer, bill payments, recharges, wallets, Micro-ATM, AePS and other assisted digital services to customers.

Key Responsibilities – Merchant Onboarding Executive

- Identify and acquire new merchants, retailers, shop owners and business partners within the assigned territory.
- Generate leads through field visits, referrals, market mapping and local networking.
- Explain PayPoint’s fintech products, services, benefits and earning opportunities to prospective merchants.
- Manage the complete merchant onboarding process, including registration, KYC, documentation, verification and activation.
- Collect, verify and submit required merchant documents accurately as per company and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal KYC, Operations, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure timely merchant activation.
- Assist merchants with application registration,



QR/POS/device setup and transaction processes.
- Ensure newly onboarded merchants complete their first transaction and become active users.
- Maintain regular follow-up with merchants to increase transaction volume and product adoption.
- Address basic merchant queries and coordinate with relevant teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, onboarding status, KYC documents and merchant activation.
- Monitor competitor activities and identify new merchant acquisition opportunities.
- Achieve assigned daily, weekly and monthly merchant acquisition and activation targets.
- Ensure all merchant onboarding activities comply with company policies, KYC/AML guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
