About the Role

V7 Defence Industries Private Limited is looking for a Design Intern to support the Design and Engineering team in developing, modifying, documenting, and organizing engineering designs and drawings. The intern will get practical exposure to engineering design processes and will work under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Design and Engineering team in preparing and modifying 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Support the development of engineering designs as per project requirements.
- Assist in preparing engineering drawings, layouts, and design documentation.
- Make design modifications based on feedback from senior engineers.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and design-related documents.
- Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) and other design-related documentation.
- Support the team in checking dimensions, measurements, and basic design specifications.
- Coordinate with the Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Project teams when required.
- Assist in converting design concepts into practical engineering drawings.
- Participate in design reviews and understand the reasoning behind design decisions.
- Follow company standards, drawing practices, documentation procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
- Assist with other design and engineering activities assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of engineering drawing and design principles.
- Familiarity with any relevant CAD/design software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of dimensions, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.




- Willingness to learn and work on practical engineering projects.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.

Educational Qualification

- Pursuing or recently completed Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Industrial Engineering
- or a related engineering discipline.

Key Deliverables

The intern is expected to assist in completing assigned design tasks accurately and within the timelines provided by the reporting manager while continuously improving their technical and professional skills.

Note: The responsibilities may be modified or expanded based on project requirements and the intern's skills and learning progress.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 per month
