Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to lead the design and development of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on developer who can lead a technical team, take ownership of project delivery, and interact directly with customers to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Full stack experience with React and/or Node.js is an added advantage. Experience working on data-intensive applications and within the Microsoft ecosystem will also be valuable.

Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable applications using Python
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team
- Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, debugging, and technical problem-solving
- Take end-to-end ownership of technical deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Interact directly with customers to understand business and technical requirements
- Translate customer requirements into appropriate technical solutions and implementation plans




- Design and develop APIs, backend services, integrations, and data processing components
- Collaborate with frontend, product, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Mentor team members and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices
- Identify technical risks, resolve development challenges, and drive continuous improvement

Must Have Skills

- 5+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Python
- Strong experience in Python application/backend development, including building scalable and maintainable applications
- Proven experience in leading or technically guiding a development team
- Strong hands-on coding, debugging, code review, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in API development and system integration
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Strong customer communication skills, with experience participating in technical discussions and requirement gathering
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and technical deliverables from requirement analysis through implementation
- Good understanding of software development best practices, Git workflows, testing, and code quality

Good To Have Skills

- Full stack development experience with React and/or Node.js
- Experience working on data-intensive or data handling projects, including processing, transformation, integration, or management of large datasets
- Experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly SharePoint or related Microsoft platforms and services
