Job Description – Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Finance Manager to oversee the company’s accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and financial reporting, along with proven leadership and team-handling experience. The candidate should also be confident and professional while interacting with clients, vendors, auditors, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, cash receipts, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Prepare, review, and file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B and ensure proper GSTR-2B reconciliation.
- Handle TDS computation, return filing, reconciliation, and related compliance.
- Review and verify purchase invoices and maintain proper inventory-related records.
- Monitor and close monthly Delivery Challans (DCs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Reconcile and close imprest accounts and ensure proper documentation.
- Review inter-company transactions and ensure timely invoicing and accounting.
- Prepare and review financial reports and provide accurate financial information to management.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders.




- Attend client meetings and site visits whenever required and maintain professional client relationships.
- Lead, manage, and guide the finance team, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Ensure timely completion of team deliverables and maintain accounting accuracy.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements in finance and accounting processes.
- Support management in financial analysis, budgeting, planning, and decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

- B.Com / CA / CS or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Tally / Tally Prime.
- Proven experience in team handling and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, statutory compliance, and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and TDS returns.
- Robust MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
- Professional and presentable personality with confidence in client-facing interactions.
- Ability to handle client meetings, negotiations, discussions, and site visits professionally.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
