Job Description
Accounting and Financial Closing
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities in accordance with Group timelines.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and financial statements.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations and balance sheet substantiation.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, Ind AS and Group accounting policies.
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents required for financial reporting.
Statutory Audit and Internal Controls
- Coordinate and manage statutory audits, tax audits and other regulatory audits.
- Support implementation and monitoring of internal control requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Group governance and internal control frameworks.
Taxation and Regulatory Compliance
- Manage Income Tax, GST and other applicable statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and compliance documentation.
- Support tax assessments, departmental inquiries and audits.
Shared Service Management
- Coordinate closely with Shared Service teams supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets accounting.
- Review accounting transactions processed by Shared Services and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Treasury and Banking
- Support banking operations and maintain relationships with banking partners.
- Manage banking documentation and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Monitor cash management activities and treasury-related transactions.
- Support financing activities including External Commercial Borrowings (ECB) and related compliance requirements.
Regulatory and Corporate Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations and applicable RBI requirements.
- Support secretarial and statutory compliance activities as required.
Process Improvement and Business Support
- Participate in finance transformation and automation initiatives.
- Strengthen accounting processes and reporting capabilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial controls and governance.
Job Requirements
Education and Professional Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Additional certifications in IFRS, Treasury or Taxation are desirable.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant.
- Experience in accounting, statutory reporting, audits and compliance functions.
- Exposure to manufacturing, aerospace, MRO or multinational organizations is preferred.
- Experience working with Shared Service Centre environments is desirable.
Technical Competencies
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes.
- Experience managing monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation including Income Tax and GST.
- Working knowledge of FEMA regulations and RBI compliance requirements.
- Experience handling External Commercial Borrowings (ECB) and related reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of statutory audits, internal audits and internal control frameworks.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

This position is based in Hyderabad, India and will support the growing MRO business operations. The role requires close collaboration with Finance, Shared Services, Operations, external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners and regulatory authorities.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining accounting integrity, ensuring statutory compliance, strengthening internal controls and supporting treasury and regulatory activities. Experience in multinational organizations operating under IFRS reporting environments will be considered a strong advantage.
