About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our Design & Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing 2D drawings and 3D models of gears, gearboxes, and mechanical components, preparing manufacturing drawings, and coordinating with the production team.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models for gears, gearboxes, shafts, housings, and other mechanical components using AutoCAD and Creo.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, GD&T;, surface finish, and material specifications.
- Develop drawings as per design requirements and manufacturing feasibility.
- Review and modify existing drawings based on engineering and production requirements.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Purchase teams to resolve design and manufacturing-related issues.
- Assist in preparing BOMs, part drawings,



assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Check drawings before release to production and ensure compliance with company design standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design. Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD and Creo.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, fits, GD&T;, surface finish, and material specifications.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical assembly and manufacturing drawings.
