Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive with 2–3 years of relevant experience to support day-to-day accounting, vendor/customer reconciliations, GST/TDS activities, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles and practical experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, SAP, Tally, or similar ERP platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable

- Processing supplier invoices, debit notes, credit notes and other accounting documents.
- Verification of invoices against PO, GRN and supporting documents.
- Posting purchase invoices and expenses in the ERP system.
- Maintaining vendor ledgers and resolving vendor reconciliation differences.
- Monitoring supplier advances and their timely adjustment.
- Supporting the preparation of vendor ageing and payable reports.
- Ensuring proper accounting and documentation before processing payments.

2. Accounts Receivable

- Posting customer invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
- Maintaining customer ledgers and conducting regular reconciliations.
- Monitoring outstanding receivables and following up for payment.
- Preparing customer ageing reports.
- Accounting for customer receipts and ensuring proper allocation against invoices.

3. Bank & Cash Management

- Preparing Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a regular basis.
- Posting bank transactions and identifying unreconciled items.
- Monitoring bank charges, interest and other bank-related transactions.
- Supporting cash and bank balance reconciliation.

4. General Accounting

- Passing journal entries and GL entries in the ERP.
- Supporting prepaid expense, accrual, provision and reversal entries.
- Assisting in fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
- Performing GL scrutiny and identifying unusual or incorrect transactions.
- Supporting intercompany accounting and reconciliation.




- Maintaining proper accounting documentation and audit trails.

5. GST Compliance

- Supporting monthly GST reconciliation.
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase records.
- Verification of Input Tax Credit.
- Supporting preparation of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Identifying GST discrepancies and coordinating with relevant teams for resolution.
- Maintaining GST-related supporting documents.

6. TDS Compliance

- Checking applicability of TDS on vendor payments.
- Ensuring correct TDS section and rate are applied.
- Supporting monthly TDS calculations and payments.
- Assisting in quarterly TDS return preparation.
- Reconciliation of TDS ledgers with returns and challans.

7. Import & Export Accounting

- Accounting for import purchases and related expenses.
- Verification of Bill of Entry, commercial invoice, freight and customs documents.
- Reconciliation of import transactions with vendor ledgers.
- Supporting IDPMS/EDPMS-related reconciliation wherever applicable.
- Accounting for foreign currency transactions and exchange differences.
- Supporting foreign vendor payment documentation.

8. Month-End Closing

- Supporting monthly closing activities.
- Preparing accruals, provisions and prepaid expense schedules.
- Ensuring all purchase and expense invoices are recorded before closing.
- Performing vendor/customer/GL reconciliations.
- Preparing month-end schedules and supporting documents.
- Ensuring timely completion of assigned closing activities.

9. Audit & Compliance Support

- Providing supporting documents for statutory, internal and tax audits.




- Preparing audit schedules and reconciliations.
- Responding to audit queries in coordination with seniors.
- Maintaining proper documentation for accounting and statutory compliance.
- Following company SOPs, IFC controls and approval matrices.

10. ERP & Process Responsibilities

- Accurate and timely posting of transactions in the ERP.
- Following prescribed approval workflows.
- Ensuring correct GL account, cost centre, department and tax codes.
- Identifying ERP/accounting discrepancies and reporting them to the supervisor.
- Supporting process improvements and automation initiatives.

Key Skills Required

- Good knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries.
- Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Knowledge of bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Positive Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables and basic data analysis.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to meet month-end closing deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

Essential:

- B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification.

Preferred:

- MBA Finance or equivalent professional qualification.

Experience

2–3 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a manufacturing, trading, import/export or multinational company.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
