Electrical Engineer – Power Systems

A small, independent consulting firm is seeking a graduate Electrical Engineer or an engineer with 1–2 years of experience to support power-system studies and electrical design projects.

Please note that shortlisted candidates will complete a brief technical assessment during the interview process to evaluate their knowledge of power systems. Working Hours 6pm-1AM and sometimes flexible.

Responsibilities

- Assist with load-flow, short-circuit, and protection-coordination studies
- Prepare and update single-line diagrams and technical reports
- Support substation, distribution, and industrial power-system designs
- Perform electrical calculations using ETAP, SKM Power Tools, EasyPower, or equivalent software
- Assist senior engineers with project documentation, design reviews, and client deliverables

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on power systems
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of power systems, substations,



protection, and applicable electrical codes and standards
- Familiarity with ETAP, SKM Power Tools, EasyPower, or similar software is an advantage
- Strong analytical, technical-writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Position Details

Start date: Immediate; urgent hiring

Work arrangement: Fully remote

Hours: Approximately 25–40 hours per week, depending on project requirements

Compensation: INR 150-180 per hour
