Manual Tester

Quality Assurance Experience: 4 — 7 Years ,Finance domain, Full-time

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Manual Tester with a strong Finance domain background to join our Quality Assurance team at Testunity. The ideal candidate brings hands-on testing experience across complex financial applications, combined with sharp analytical thinking, clear communication, and the confidence to thrive in a client-facing environment.

EXPERIENCE

4 —7 years of relevant experience in Manual Testing with strong Finance domain knowledge. Candidates with a proven track record across multiple applications and end-to-end business workflows are strongly preferred.

TESTING COVERAGE

The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the following testing types:

KEY REQUIREM ENTS

Strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing across complex, multi-layered applications.

Experience testing multiple applications and intricate business workflows simultaneously.

Solid Finance domain knowledge with solid numerical and calculation skills to validate financial data accurately.

Hands-on experience working with Excel for complex calculations, data validation, and financial reconciliation.





Experience in API testing using Postman —able to validate request/response payloads, headers, and status codes.

Working knowledge of SQL queries for data validation, backend verification, and test data extraction.

Good experience in test case preparation, execution, defect reporting, and complete defect lifecycle

management.

Excellent logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities — capable of identifying edge cases and root-cause issues effectively.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Confident in sharing thoughts, articulating findings clearly, and communicating test outcomes to stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, or similar) is a plus.
