Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in any specialization or MCA.
- Relevant certifications in System Administration, Server Administration, Cloud Computing, or related technologies will be an added advantage.

Overall Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the implementation, administration, and management of server systems.
- Proven experience working on large and complex IT system development and implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience in managing enterprise-level server infrastructure and supporting critical IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, install, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, and related software.
- Manage server infrastructure to ensure availability, reliability, performance, and security.
- Implement and manage server virtualization technologies.
- Monitor server performance, capacity, availability, and system health, and proactively address potential issues.
- Implement and maintain server security policies, procedures, and controls to protect infrastructure from cyber threats.
- Manage user authentication, access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention mechanisms.
- Diagnose and resolve server-related incidents and technical issues within defined timelines.
- Perform root cause analysis of recurring or critical issues and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Plan and execute server migrations, upgrades, deployments, and configuration changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Support cloud computing environments, infrastructure orchestration, and automated management of complex systems and services.
- Maintain system documentation, configuration records, operational procedures, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with application, network, security, database, and other technical teams for infrastructure-related activities.
- Ensure adherence to IT infrastructure standards, security policies,



and operational best practices.
- Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives and recommend solutions to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge of server installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with server virtualization technologies.
- Valuable understanding of server security principles, including:
- User authentication
- Access control
- Encryption
- Intrusion detection and prevention
- Security hardening
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex server issues.
- Experience in root cause analysis and implementation of long-term corrective solutions.
- Experience with server migrations, upgrades, deployments, and system rollouts.
- Hands-on exposure to cloud computing, infrastructure orchestration, and automation.
- Ability to manage complex IT environments and support critical systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Experience

- Experience working on large-scale or complex IT implementation projects.
- Experience in enterprise server infrastructure management.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and automated infrastructure management.
- Relevant certifications in system administration, virtualization, cloud technologies, or server technologies will be an advantage.
- Experience in government, enterprise, or other mission-critical IT environments will be preferred.
