The Shopify Project Manager with TikTok Shop experience is a full-time remote position for one of our US Customers, so working in US Times Zones is required.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Shopify Project Manager with proven experience in TikTok Shop integration and management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead end-to-end e-commerce projects, ensuring seamless implementation of Shopify storefronts and TikTok Shop features. You will drive cross-functional collaboration, oversee technical integrations, and manage project timelines to deliver innovative online shopping experiences that captivate customers and elevate brand presence. Your expertise in enterprise software, cloud computing, and agile methodologies will be instrumental in transforming digital retail strategies into successful realities.

Duties

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Shopify e-commerce projects with a focus on TikTok Shop integration, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, marketing, and IT infrastructure specialists to facilitate smooth project workflows.
- Manage project scope, schedule, resources, and budgets using advanced project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Visio, and TFS.




- Gather detailed requirements from stakeholders, translate them into actionable tasks, and develop comprehensive test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Oversee the implementation of enterprise solutions involving databases (SQL, Oracle), cloud computing platforms (AWS), and IT governance standards to ensure scalable and secure e-commerce operations.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor project progress using SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders through regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and potential issues while managing expectations effectively.

Skills

- Extensive experience managing technology projects within enterprise software environments involving Shopify platforms and TikTok Shop integrations.
- Strong technical proficiency in AWS cloud services, SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle), IT infrastructure management, and cloud computing solutions.
- Proven supervisory skills in technical project & program management with expertise in Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.




- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, TFS, VersionOne, SharePoint, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
- Deep understanding of SDLC processes, requirements gathering techniques, risk management practices, release management strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels; adept at negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in software development lifecycle activities including test-driven development (TDD), user acceptance testing (UAT), software implementation, and enterprise solutions deployment.
- Knowledge of IT governance standards ensuring compliance across all project phases; familiarity with IT infrastructure components such as networks and databases is a plus.

Position Details

- Contract Remote Position to work in US time zones
- 6-month initial assignment
- Full-time (40 hrs/week) position
- Having a valid US Visa for potential on-site meetings is a plus
