- Examine patients and obtain detailed medical histories.
- Diagnose common acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medicines and treatments based on clinical assessment.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
- Provide treatment and follow-up care for patients.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and thyroid disorders.
- Provide preventive healthcare, health education, and lifestyle counseling.
- Identify emergency or responsible medical conditions and arrange timely referral to specialists or hospitals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Monitor patients’ response to treatment and modify therapy when required.
- Coordinate care with specialists, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients regarding medication use, diet, exercise, and preventive measures.
- Follow applicable clinical guidelines, medical ethics, and healthcare regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards.
- Participate in clinic quality-improvement and infection-control practices.
