Job Title: Executive- Accounts (E-commerce)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Executive- Accounts. (E-commerce) to manage the financial operations of our online sales channels. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, Tata 1MG, etc.), payment gateways, inventory management, and digital transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping & General Accounting.

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely entry of transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment gateway accounts.
- Record sales, returns, refunds, discounts, and shipping costs appropriately.

2. Sales Channel Reconciliation.

- Reconcile revenue between e-commerce platforms and accounting software.
- Monitor fees and commissions charged by third-party marketplaces (e.g., Amazon seller fees).

3. Inventory Accounting.

- Track inventory costs, stock levels, and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold).
- Assist with monthly and annual inventory counts and valuation.

4. Tax Compliance.

- Prepare and file GST/VAT/Sales tax returns as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws related to ecommerce.

5. Financial Reporting.

- Prepare monthly financial reports including P&L;, balance sheets,



and cash flow statements.
- Analyse financial data to assist in strategic decision-making.

6. Payment & Settlement.

- Monitor and reconcile payments from platforms (Amazon payouts, Shopify Payments, etc.).
- Liaise with banks and payment service providers to resolve discrepancies.

7. Process Improvement.

- Streamline and automate accounting processes where possible.
- Recommend best practices for e-commerce financial management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in e-commerce accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software. (SAP, Busy)
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms. (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central)
- Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with large datasets.
- Understanding of digital payment systems and online transaction flows.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with inventory management.
- Knowledge of multi-currency accounting.
- Prior experience with international e-commerce and tax laws

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
