A Day in the Life of Senior Salesforce Developer!
You will be a core member of the GCC engineering squad. You will work in daily collaboration with the retained senior Accenture engineers on-site, contributing to the development and maintenance of the six Salesforce O+O applications. This role is designed for a developer with solid foundations who is ready to accelerate their growth by working alongside experienced platform experts.In this role, You will..
Be responsible for the following:
Develop and Maintain Platform Features
- Analyze functional requirements, formalize their technical translations,
and undertake the corresponding Salesforce developments (Apex, LWC, Flows, integration callouts).
- Perform corrective and scalable maintenance of existing applications (MACH2, EasyTrade, MRC, My Maintenance, CAPEX, POS Referential).
- Write clean, documented, and testable code with a minimum 85% unit test coverage.
- Propose technical and sustainable solutions when multiple implementation paths are available.
Learn and Absorb Platform Knowledge
- Engage actively in pairing and shadowing sessions with the retained Accenture senior developers.
- Test and monitor test phases of developments in compliance with defined test scenarios.
- Draw up documentation in compliance with defined norms and standards as a byproduct of development work.
- Use knowledge of IT trends and developments to improve service to internal clients.
Participate in Engineering Discipline
- Submit all code through peer review before deployment; accept feedback as a growth mechanism.
- Follow established CI/CD pipelines, versioning methods, and deployment protocols without exception.
- Use ServiceNow to log, track, and close incidents and development tasks.
Grow Toward L3
- Take on progressively complex development tasks as platform knowledge deepens.
- Participate actively in sprint ceremonies and technical discussions.
- Target Salesforce Platform Developer I certification within 6 months if not already held.
What are we looking for?
Technical Competencies
- Experience: 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Salesforce Development: Solid working knowledge of Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce data model, declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Custom Metadata), and REST API integrations. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Consumer Goods (CG Cloud) desktop and mobile applications,
including offline configuration, Retail Execution features, and data synchronization.
- Engineering Practices: Familiarity with Git version control, sandbox management, change sets or metadata API deployments (SFDX CLI, VS Code), and basic unit testing (Apex tests, Jest).
- Certification are an added advantage.
