Job Summary

SRV Agadi Hospital is looking for an IP Billing Coordinator to manage inpatient billing activities, ensure accurate and timely billing, coordinate insurance/TPA requirements, and support smooth discharge and financial clearance.

The role requires strong coordination with patients, attendants, clinical departments, insurance/TPA teams, accounts, pharmacy, diagnostics, and front office.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, verify, and process inpatient bills, estimates, interim bills, and final bills.
- Coordinate with Insurance/TPA teams for pre-authorizations, approvals, queries, and claim documentation.
- Verify treatment charges, packages, discounts, deposits, adjustments, and outstanding balances.
- Ensure accurate posting of charges and identify billing discrepancies.
- Coordinate with clinical, pharmacy, diagnostics, accounts, front office, and other hospital departments.
- Handle billing-related queries from patients and attendants professionally.
- Coordinate and ensure timely discharge billing and financial clearance.
- Follow up on pending payments, approvals, and insurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation.




- Resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with concerned departments.
- Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and procedures.
- Prepare daily/weekly billing and collection reports as required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience in IP Billing / Hospital Billing / Healthcare Operations preferred.
- Candidates with experience in hospital billing, IP billing, insurance/TPA, cashless billing, patient billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare operations can apply.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- Valuable documentation and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work within deadlines.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hospital billing systems preferred.
- Kannada and English communication skills preferred.
