We are looking for experienced Interior Designers / Architects to join us as Design Partners on a freelance basis.

Role Overview

As a Design Partner, you will work with HomeLane customers to understand their requirements, create interior design solutions, and take projects through the design journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced interior designers who want flexibility, project-based earnings, and the opportunity to work with a leading interior brand.

Key Responsibilities

Understand client requirements, lifestyle, preferences, and budget.

Develop residential interior design concepts and layouts.

Prepare design presentations, drawings, and 3D visualizations.

Create designs for modular kitchens, wardrobes, living rooms, bedrooms, and other residential spaces.

Present designs to clients and incorporate feedback.

Coordinate with internal HomeLane teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure a smooth customer experience from design discussion to project handover.

Maintain professional communication and timely follow-ups with customers.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Interior Design / Architecture.

Strong experience in residential interior designing.

Experience in modular kitchen and home interiors is highly preferred.

Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp,



and SpaceCraft Pro or willingness to learn SpaceCraft Pro.

Must have a good portfolio showcasing residential interior projects.

Strong communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.

Must have your own laptop for work.

Candidates should be comfortable with weekend client meetings/showroom visits.

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Candidates currently working in a full-time job may not be eligible for this freelance opportunity.

Payout Structure

Design Partners can earn payouts linked to project milestones:

1% – At client booking

3% – After design completion

2% – At project handover

Up to 1% additional NPS incentive based on customer experience/performance

Total earning chance: Up to approximately 7% including NPS incentive.

Important

This is a freelance / payout-based opportunity, not a fixed-salary employment role.

Weekend availability is mandatory as a significant portion of customer meetings happen on Saturdays and Sundays.

Candidates must be comfortable working with residential interior design projects and clients.
