Your role

As a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager – Methods Engineering , your mission is to Support and promote Atlas Copco's mission of being recognized as a Reference Product Company by establishing and continuously improving world-class manufacturing processes.

You will

- Key Responsibilities
-

- Develop, standardize, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for Industrial Air products.
- Drive NPI/NPD projects and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Lead product and process change management activities.
- Maintain SAP/GEMS, MES, routings, master data, and manufacturing systems.
- Drive Industry 4.0, automation and digitalization initiatives.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Waste Walk and Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Conduct line balancing and productivity improvement studies.
- Ensure compliance with IMS, EMS, EnMS and Health & Safety requirements.
- Drive FTR, DOA and continuous improvement through problem-solving methodologies.
- Coordinate tooling and fixture development with suppliers.
- Collaborate across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing and Engineering teams.

Experience Requirements

- 5 to 7 years of experience in Methods Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.




- Experience in assembly operations of industrial products, Lean Manufacturing and process improvement.
- Knowledge of ERP and MES platforms.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification in Management or Engineering is an added advantage.
